20 yearsJob Description : EXECUTIVE VICE PRESEIDENT CANADA Executive Vice President – Manufacturing Sector Location: Saint-Laurent An esteemed international manufacturing leader is seeking an Executive Vice President to support the business owner in transitioning the company as he approaches retirement. This role is a critical step towards eventually becoming the CEO. The position offers a competitive base salary, a substantial performance-based bonus, comprehensive health coverage (including medical, dental, and life insurance), and additional incentives. As Executive Vice President, you will integrate into a well-established company and play a key role in shaping its promising future. The company operates four units: two in manufacturing, one in import, and one providing OEM value-added services. In this role, you will be responsible for people management, establishing KPIs, developing strategy, and overseeing all aspects of the business. You will manage over 100 employees with direct reports in Sales, Manufacturing, and Finance, preparing to assume the CEO role upon the owner's retirement. The Executive Vice President (EVP) will report directly to the CEO, and will oversee all operational and strategic aspects of the business, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and driving growth across all business units. Operational Oversight: Supervise and coordinate activities across four business units, including two manufacturing facilities locally, import processes, and OEM production. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans in collaboration with the CEO and executive team to achieve corporate goals and maximize profitability. Financial Management: Monitor financial performance and establish KPIs to track operational efficiency and business unit profitability. Team Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to a diverse team including VP of Manufacturing, plant managers, production managers, and functional heads across finance, manufacturing, and sales. Cross-functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration between departments to enhance productivity, resolve issues, and optimize business processes. Accountability and Performance: Implement systems to hold teams accountable for performance, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to quality standards. Reporting and Analysis: Regularly review performance metrics and financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to the CEO and board of -directors. Hands-on Involvement: Maintain a hands-on approach, particularly on the manufacturing floor, to stay connected with operations and address critical issues proactively. MBA or an equivalent advanced degree is required (this is non-negotiable) Proven experience in senior leadership roles, including managing large teams within a company or through business ownership. Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire teams. Very high level of bilingualism to work with clients internationally (This is a firm requirement) A successful track record in establishing KPIs, strategic planning, and execution to drive business growth Extensive experience in financial management and budget oversight Prior ownership experience or significant operational leadership is required Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
