20 yearsJob Description : CEO WEST AFRICA 20 – 25 years experience A leading global player in the Automotive Services industry is presently seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for its WestAfrican Division, based in Ghana, overseeing a team of 245 employees. The CEO will assume responsibility for the overall performance of the company and its subsidiaries, adhering to directives set forth by the Board of Directors. Key duties encompass strategic planning and execution, with a background in business acquisition, alongside overseeing operational activities at the executive level, supported by subordinate executives and line management. Key Reporting Structure: Directly reports to the Board of Directors Direct reports include the Chief Finance Officer, Executive of Human Capital, Executive of Commercial Affairs, Head of Operations, and Head of Technical Operations Essential Requirements: Background in the Automotive Services Industry or related service sectors Postgraduate qualification such as an MBA, complemented by a bachelor's degree. Minimum six years of experience as a Director and at least four years as a CEO Strong operational expertise across finance, sales, marketing, customer service, legal, and compliance Experience managing a diverse workforce of approximately 600 employees and a revenue stream surpassing R300 million Proficiency in profit, loss, and control analysis, with a proven history of implementing corrective measures in this regard. Additional Preferences: Multilingual proficiency, including relevant South African languages, is advantageous. Exposure to legal and compliance procedures Demonstrated negotiation skills. Proven ability to integrate and coordinate various management functions. Flexibility to accommodate the demands of executive management, which may include long and irregular working hours. Willingness to undertake both domestic and international travel, as necessary. Formulation, successful implementation, and management of the overall strategy of the company towards the profitable growth and operations of the company Oversee and guide the development of strategic operating plans which reflect the longer-term objectives and priorities established by the Board of Directors
