Job Description : COO EDIBLE FMCG MANUFACTURING WEST AFRICA 25+ years experience Regional knowledge and bi lingual MUST Acts as a strategic partner on the leadership team and works closely with the manufacturing and operations team to ensure they are meeting performance expectations. Coaches and develops the team to ensure they are delivering against key business metrics. Oversee overall supply chain, production quality, efficiency and productivity, cost control, and look out for continuous improvement opportunities Identify operational inefficiencies and develop strategies and plans to automate and streamline processes and increase production efficiency Work collaboratively with the CEO on developing long-term business strategies. Work autonomously while ensuring CEO expectations are readily met and exceeded. Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the company. Leads and develop teams across multiple locations and over various functions. Motivates and leads a high-performance operations team. Represents the firm with clients, investors, and business partners. Translate technical know how to commercial language; manage client relationships and optimize production capability tailoring to client's needs Demonstrates a willingness to take on new tasks and cascade down to operational level Fosters a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company. The Successful Applicant 5 or more years of experience in C-suite or equivalent leadership roles Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity. Ability to inspire and motivate team members. Extensive knowledge and experience in mechanical engineering from electronic manufacturing industry Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate relationships across all levels of the organization and externally with clients Strategic thinking and strong vision of development in the industry Solid grasp of financial management, cost control and performance metrics Ability to diagnose problems quickly and foresee potential issues
