Technical Manager

Job Description : TECHNCIAL MANAGER PLASTICS MEXICO Role is open to Spanish speaking candidates worldwide Reporting in the Engineering Manager the role, the incoming candidate will effectively manage the technical team - which includes a mixture of moulding technicians, setters and operatives. Other account abilities will include the optimisation of moulding parameters per product/machine; work alongside the Process Engineering/R&D departments to establish a structured approach to address fault finding/process chance; analyse the cause of machine stoppages; manage/implement a skill development matrix to review personnel performance; and generally foster close working relationships within the technical team and other key internal stakeholders to ensure optimum manufacturing output. Candidates must have at least 15 years worth of experience within the plastics and injection moulding industry in order to be considered for this post, coupled with demonstrable experience of leading and managing a high performing team across a 24/7 shift pattern. A relevant technical qualification, BPTA, or injection moulding qualification would advantageous.
