Job Description : Director of Marketing Location: Nigeria Industry: Telecom Position Type: Full-Time Job Summary: As the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive growth and brand awareness. Your role will involve collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and maximize impact. Develop the strategy and plans for organization's business operations , conceptualized and developed new business strategies which led to an increase in turnover and profitability of the organization P&L Driver and revenue accelerator, will drive the sales and marketing operations for the organization. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: - Develop and implement marketing strategies that align with the company's overall business goals. - Identify market opportunities and threats through comprehensive market research and analysis. - Set marketing objectives, KPIs, and budgets, and track performance against targets. Campaign Management: - Design, execute, and oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and events. - Lead the creative development process, ensuring campaigns are compelling and consistent with brand messaging. - Monitor and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to optimize results. Brand Management: - Enhance brand positioning and identity through strategic marketing initiatives. - Ensure brand consistency across all channels and touchpoints. - Manage and protect the company's reputation and brand equity. Market Research & Analysis: - Conduct competitive analysis and stay updated on industry trends and best practices. - Utilize market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and behaviors. - Apply insights to refine marketing strategies and tactics. Budget Management: - Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. - Track expenditures and ensure marketing activities are cost-effective and deliver a positive ROI. Stakeholder Engagement: - Collaborate with senior leadership and other stakeholders to align marketing strategies with business objectives. - Build and maintain relationships with key external partners, including agencies and vendors. Reporting & Analytics: - Prepare and present regular reports on marketing performance, ROI, and strategic initiatives to senior management. - Leverage analytics tools to measure and optimize campaign effectiveness and customer engagement. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 18 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the telecom industry. Skills: - Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns. - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
