They are seeking a Head of Engineering, Technology Architecture, and Operations.In this role, you will be responsible for: Leading and mentoring a diverse team of solution architects, cloud infrastructure experts, site reliability engineers, backend engineers, and more, while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. Developing and implementing a comprehensive technology roadmap that aligns with business objectives, with a focus on modern, scalable, and secure architectures. Owning the end-to-end architecture, from conceptualization to detailed design, ensuring that the systems are resilient, scalable, and future-proof. Working closely with various business and technology teams to gather requirements, define solutions, and drive the successful implementation of technology initiatives. Championing the adoption of emerging technologies, leading proof-of-concept projects, and exploring new ways to differentiate our offerings in a competitive market. Ensuring adherence to best practices in security, compliance, and performance across all technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a strong technical background and the ability to translate business goals into actionable technical strategies. Key qualifications include: Ideally come from ecommerce/technology industries. 15+ years of progressive experience in technology leadership, with significant experience managing large engineering teams. Proficiency in cloud-native architectures, DevOps practices, and modern software development methodologies. Experience with programming languages such as Java, Golang, or Python is essential. Deep understanding of end-to-end architecture, including backend, front-end, mobile applications, databases, and RESTful APIs. Familiarity with microservices, serverless functions, and enterprise integration is critical. Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop and execute long-term technology strategies that align with business objectives.
