Job Description : Resort General Manager – Luxury Hotel in Cape Verde Salary: competitive - depending on experience Location: Cape Verde, West Coast Africa Must have current / recent experience managing a 400 rooms minimum Luxury / Lifestyle Resort Hotel. Reporting structure: Group CEO Language: English and Portuguese We are looking for an experienced Resort General Manager for this luxury 5* Resort in Cape Verde. You will have a keen eye for detail and excellence as well as being a self-starter and strong motivator of people. You will take charge of the day-to-day operations; leading and coaching the management team of the resort and ensure that all procedures are fully aligned with the corporate strategy, business targets, values and culture. You must have second-to-none customer service skills and attributes. You will also be strategic, look at the short-medium and long term objectives for the resort, be an ‘out-of-the-box’ thinker able to bring new ideas to the table, always seeking improvement for the guest and teams at all level.
