Job Description : TECHNICAL DIRECTOR MOULDING AND TOOLING BELGIUM Open to French speaking candidates worldwide Define the technological strategies in conjunction with the development team of each project: Pipeline. Tools and Key Overall Procedures Assess technical risk and mitigation plan Establish standards and procedures to track and measure projects progression Evaluate the development team, identify strengths, and problem areas, and develop plans for improving performance Elevate interview candidates for technical positions Scout for and evaluates new technology and tools as opportunities for innovation and development excellence Oversee technical design documentation progress for correctness and timeliness Evaluate the implementation of design and task thoroughness Help to identify high-risk areas for the projects Create automated test process for system features, where possible and contributes to the build system Conduct tooling and machinery failure analysis with the team to resolve technical issues aimed at improving quality and reducing scrap Identify, prioritize and correct manufacturing equipment/tooling issues to create quality or delivery problems Constant review and initiate improvement on existing processes and procedures in line with business dynamics and raising the level of customer satisfaction. Manage the allocation of resources and ensure the availability of all raw materials in line with customer forecast Authorities Shall commensurate with respect to responsibilities Self-motivated and able to work independently Must be organized and detail-oriented, and must be able to multi-task Requirements Minimum Degree in Engineering &Product design or relevant experience At least 20 years working in Tool & Die making mould fabrication and management in related manufacturing Strong leadership skills, Excellent communication & People skills Good communication skills Proficiency in the use of 3D Cad Eg. Unigraphics Good experience in plastic injection mould making Able to do DFM and deal with customer on to manufacturability
