Operations Supervisor

Job Description : Operation SUPERVISOR NIGERIA FOR Blown Film. Experience - 10-15 years’ experience in a Flexible Packaging Plant is a must. Prefer personnel with Nigerian experience. Qualification - Degree or Diploma in Plastic Technology. Preferably CIPET. Reporting relationship - Flexible Packaging Unit Head. He needs to supervise a headcount of over 20 staff. Role and Responsibilities- Responsible for the overall management Maintenance function of the whole facility 1) Responsible for handling Blown Film from W & H and Dikey machine breakdowns and resolving them within a prompt time. 2) Experience in Processing PA6 Nylon Film, Lamination Grade Poly for Liquid (Alcohol ) , Al Foil and Bulk Packaging Poly, Lamination Film for Snack Foods and Shrink Film. 3) To ensure seamless processing and operation Films for various applications for Flexible Laminates and Shrink Film. The target is to achieve Blown with Zero defects and the least issues for customers. 4) Understanding of Operations of Multi-Layer Blown Film such as 3 Layer Blown Film from Dikey and 5 Layer Blown Film from W & H 5) Should have Handled Operations of Windmoller & Holscher – Multi-layer, Reifenhauser – Multi-Layer, and Macchi – Multi-layer. Required Technical skills and experience-. 1) Recipe Understanding 2) Understanding of Layer Distribution and Thickness balancing 3) Layer distribution while using Polyamide PA 6 4) Candidate should have knowledge of using MB in Plain and Multi Layer Films with PA6. 5) Tie Layer adjustment. 6) Internal Layer Bonding 7) Gel Control through material combination 8) Mixing ratio to control un-melted particles 9) Die Punch Cleaning 10) Die Insert Adjustment Other Benefits- Bachelor status with other Expat benefits like Annual paid leave, Air Passage, free furnished independent accommodation, etc.
