Proposal and Estimation Engineer

Job Description : PROPOSAL AND ESTIMATION ENGINEER KSA FOR OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY a leading total solutions provider in the fields of integrated services for Oil, Petrochemical, Chemical and other Allied Industries in Saudi Arabia. Job Profile: Prepare cost estimates by analyzing proposals and requirements. Prepare weekly bid calendar and ensures timely completion of estimates Identifies labour, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. A careful study of the tender documents, specifications and drawings Liaise with engineering for the Prebid engineering works including material takeoff, specifications, engineering manhours, method statement etc Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information. Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information. Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Maintains cost database by entering and backing up data. Follow-up with the procurement department for vendor offers and obtain vendor responses for the technical clarifications raised. Ensure generation of all deliverables by Engineering Disciplines as per Bid requirement (BOQs, Technical Documents to be attached to Bid, costing for various equipment and bulks etc). Shortlist and identify target vendors for various key equipment/ packages. Candidate Profile: Qualification: Graduate Engineer Experience: 5+ years of experience of Projects, Bidding, Proposal/Tendering & Estimation of Oil & Gas Plant/Petrochemical Plant/Chemical Plant
