Job Description : Director of Human Resources Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Location: Abuja Industry: Oil & Gas Qualification: A Master’s degree in relevant courses and HR Certification. Experience: A minimum of 15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role and must have experience in negotiating with unions in Nigeria. Responsibilities: ? Develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals. ? Advise senior management on HR-related issues, including workforce planning, organizational development, and succession planning. ? Drive change management initiatives to improve organizational culture and employee engagement. ? Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes to ensure the hiring of qualified and diverse talent. ? Develop and implement talent management programs, including performance management, leadership development, and career progression. ? Lead workforce planning efforts to ensure the company has the right talent in place to meet future business needs. ? Promote a positive work environment through effective employee relations programs and conflict resolution strategies. ? Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations, addressing employee grievances and disciplinary issues as needed. ? Foster a culture of continuous feedback and open communication across all levels of the organization. ? Design and oversee competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent. ? Manage the annual compensation review process and provide recommendations to senior management. ? Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
