Job Description : VP FINANCE DUBAI a leading company within the Healthcare space to recruit a VP Finance based in Dubai. The Vice President of Finance will be a key member of the executive leadership team, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This strategic role is responsible for overseeing all financial activities and functions of the organization. The VP of Finance will manage a large and diverse team of over 50 finance professionals, including 6 direct reports, covering accounting, audit, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), risk management, compliance, treasury, tax, and commercial finance. The successful candidate will drive financial strategy, ensure robust financial governance, and support the organization’s growth and profitability goals. Develop and implement financial strategy, providing guidance and insights to support executive decision-making and strategic initiatives. Lead and manage a large finance team, including mentoring and developing over 50 professionals, with direct oversight of key finance functions such as accounting, FP&A, risk, compliance, treasury, tax, and commercial finance. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analysis, preparing and presenting comprehensive financial reports to senior management and stakeholders. Ensure accurate financial reporting, internal and external audit compliance, and robust internal controls, maintaining adherence to regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards. Manage treasury and cash flow operations, optimize tax planning and compliance, and build strong relationships with financial institutions and investors. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations and efficiency, leveraging technology, and supporting business units with financial insights for cost management and profitability optimization. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred. Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is highly desirable. Minimum of 15 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Proven track record of managing large finance teams and multiple finance functions in a complex, dynamic environment. Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and risk management practices.
