Job Description : FC DUBAI global company to recruit a Financial Controller MEA to be based in their offices in Dubai. Reporting to the Finance Director MEA, the Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations across multiple countries across the MEA region. This role is critical to ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency within the region, while providing strategic insights and support to senior leadership. You will lead a team of finance professionals to deliver accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, while ensuring adherence to local regulations and global corporate policies. Financial Reporting & Compliance: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with local regulations and IFRS standards. Ensure all financial controls, processes, and systems are in place to maintain high levels of accuracy and integrity. Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies to meet all statutory requirements. Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for the MEA region, working closely with regional and corporate teams to align financial plans with strategic business objectives. Provide detailed variance analysis, identifying trends and making recommendations to improve financial performance. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Support regional leadership with financial analysis and insights that drive business performance. Deliver regular financial analysis on key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying opportunities for cost efficiencies and growth. Develop financial models to assess the impact of business decisions and strategic initiatives. Treasury & Cash Management: Oversee cash flow management, ensuring adequate liquidity to meet operational and strategic needs. Manage banking relationships, financing arrangements, and ensure efficient treasury operations across the region. Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals across the MEA region, fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement. Ensure the team is well-equipped with the skills and knowledge to meet the region’s financial objectives. Risk Management & Internal Controls: Implement and maintain robust internal control processes to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks. Identify, assess, and manage financial risks, ensuring compliance with corporate governance and regional regulatory requirements. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA, CFA, or ACCA is preferred). Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership position. Strong knowledge of IFRS and regional financial regulations. Experience working in the GCC / MEA region and familiarity with local laws and business practices. Proven track record of leading financial teams and managing multi-country operations. Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Proficient in financial management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
