Job Description : Marketing Manager – FMCG (Dairy) DRC Industry: FMCG – Dairy Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing Manager to join our leading FMCG (Dairy) company in Africa. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans to drive brand awareness, market share, and profitability. The candidate should possess deep industry knowledge, specifically in the dairy sector, with a proven ability to lead campaigns, manage teams, and analyze market trends. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Marketing Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives and the dairy market landscape. Identify growth opportunities and develop go-to-market strategies for new product launches and existing product lines. Brand Management: Manage brand positioning and consistency across all marketing channels. Lead creative campaigns, product promotions, and brand-building initiatives to enhance customer engagement. Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities. Analyze sales data and develop insights to shape future marketing strategies. Digital & Traditional Marketing: Oversee digital marketing efforts including social media, SEO/SEM, and content marketing. Manage offline marketing activities such as events, promotions, and print advertising. Budget Management: Monitor and manage marketing budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and return on investment (ROI) for campaigns. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, product development, and operations to ensure alignment in marketing objectives. Engage with external partners, agencies, and vendors to execute marketing initiatives. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and performance excellence. Key Requirements: Education: MBA preferred Experience: 8+ years of marketing experience in the FMCG sector, with a focus on dairy or related food products. Proven track record of managing successful marketing campaigns and brand initiatives. Skills: Strong knowledge of consumer behavior, market research, and brand management. Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills. Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to market changes.
