Job Description : SUPPLY CHAIN DIRECTOR GCC global FMCG company to recruit a Supply Chain Director Gulf & KSA to be based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for the strategic direction, planning, and execution of the supply chain activities to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high-quality delivery of products. This role demands strong leadership, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. Develop and implement the supply chain strategy aligned with the overall business objectives. Lead the end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution. Identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and risk mitigation. Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing supply chain team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence. Set performance targets, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide professional development opportunities. Oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels and reduce excess inventory. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to meet customer demand. Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to quality standards. Implement best practices in supply chain management and drive process improvements. Utilize data analytics to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize supply chain processes. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and corporate policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, finance, and operations to align supply chain activities with business goals. Maintain clear and effective communication channels with internal and external stakeholders. Represent the supply chain function in executive meetings and provide strategic insights. Leverage technology and automation to enhance supply chain efficiency. Stay updated with industry trends and implement innovative solutions to maintain Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management within the FMCG sector, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale supply chain operations. Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, procurement, and inventory management. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in supply chain software and ERP systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
