Vice President Procurement

Job Description : VP PROCUREMENT DUBAI to lead procurement function from Dubai office. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex global procurement operations, driving strategic initiatives, and fostering high-level supplier relationships. This role demands a strategic thinker with exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies that align with company objectives and drive business growth. Directly manage a high-performing team of procurement professionals and provide mentorship and development opportunities. Oversee a substantial procurement budget and ensure alignment with financial and strategic goals. Conduct in-depth market analysis and build and maintain strategic partnerships with global suppliers. Drive procurement innovation and lead strategic initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness. Develop and optimize procurement processes, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements. Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are highly desirable. Minimum of 15 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, including at least 7 years in a senior leadership role. Demonstrated success in managing large-scale global procurement operations and achieving significant cost reductions. Proven experience in leading complex negotiations and managing high-value supplier relationships. Expertise in strategic sourcing, market analysis, and process optimization. Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of developing and motivating high-performing teams. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic and additional languages is advantageous.
