Job Description : MAINTENANCE MANAGER EDIBLE OIL REFINERY TOGO Develop and oversee a comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance program for all production equipment, machinery, and facilities. Swiftly diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns, ensuring minimal impact on production schedules. Maintain meticulous records of maintenance interventions, equipment performance, and procedural updates. Collaborate closely with production management to plan maintenance shutdowns, optimizing timing to reduce operational disruptions. Lead, mentor, and enhance the technical skill sets of the local maintenance team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. ? Efficiently manage inventory levels of spare parts and maintenance supplies, balancing availability with cost-effectiveness. Negotiate with vendors for the procurement of parts and external maintenance services, ensuring quality and cost efficiency. Uphold and advocate for strict compliance with all applicable safety standards and regulatory requirements during maintenance activities. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, maintenance procedures, and cost savings. Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring strategic allocation of resources and cost control. Optimize workshop operations and limit dependency on external contractors by improving in-house capabilities. Foster a collaborative and trusting work environment, liaising with the HR department for personnel management, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation. Continuous training of the local technical team to improve their capabilities. Advanced technical education in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, or related fields. Proven track record in maintenance leadership within an industrial, preferably agri food, environment. Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strong technical background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Proficiency in inventory management, procurement, and working knowledge of our production equipment.
