Job Description : Plant SCM Head NAMIBIA Qualification: BE/B.Tech (Mechanical/Chemical) or PGDPP from a reputed institute Experience: 15-20 years Industry: Similar Product Manufacturing Industry Critical Skills (Go/No-Go Factors): · Proven experience in product commodities within the automotive plastics or metal industry. · Demonstrated success in delivery and cost reduction initiatives. · Expertise in World Class Manufacturing (WCM) practices, including KANBAN, Just-In-Time (JIT), and Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA&VE). · Strong background in inventory control and logistics cost reduction. · Working knowledge of SAP. · Strong job stability. Job Description: The Plant SCM Head will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of supply chain management to ensure the efficient flow of materials and products. Key responsibilities include: · Ensuring timely supply of materials in alignment with production plans. · Expertise in material planning and managing inventory levels according to company standards and norms. · Upgrading suppliers to support future volume growth and optimize supply chain processes. · Managing inward/outward logistics, and coordinating export-import activities to ensure smooth operations. · Implementing cost-effective strategies for inventory control and logistics management, focusing on continuous improvement. · Leveraging SAP and other digital tools to enhance supply chain efficiency.
