Chief Security Officer

Job Description : CSO SOUTHERN AFRICA We’re looking for a Chief Security Officer (CSO) to join our team. The CSO will be responsible for developing and implementing security strategies and programs to protect our organization’s assets. The CSO will also be responsible for managing security risks and responding to security incidents. Chief Security Officer (CSO) Duties: Ensure the safety and security of the organization’s personnel, property, and data Conduct investigations and dispositions of security matters Develop and implement controls to ensure preventive security measures are enforced Develop and implement security policies and procedures Implement social networking policies Collect and analyze security data Supervise security staff Implement emergency response plans Proactively identify, mitigate, and track recurring security issues Maintain up-to-date knowledge and awareness of security issues Develop and implement risk management techniques Chief Security Officer (CSO) Responsibilities: Lead and direct all security, investigative, loss prevention, and risk management activities Direct, manage, and coordinate security services for hospitals, medical office buildings, and other healthcare facilities Oversee all security operations, including emergency response, property protection, and business continuity Develop and oversee a comprehensive security strategy to protect company assets, determine priorities, and allocate resources based on risk, operational needs, and company policies Conduct security risk assessments, audits, and vulnerability studies to identify vulnerabilities and risks, and develop action plans to mitigate them Develop and implement cohesive policies, procedures, and training programs Understand and comply with industry regulations and codes, such as HIPAA, Joint Commission, and OSHA Support the goals and objectives of the institution to maintain security, safety, and confidentiality Promote positive security culture, risk management, and security awareness Requirements And Skills: Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or military security management 25+ years’ proven experience as a security manager Experience with security risk assessment processes, procedures, and methodologies Ability to develop and implement security policies and procedures Knowledge of security equipment and the ability to train others
