Finance Director

Job Description : FINANCE DIRECTOR SE ASIA OUT OF SINGAPORE a listed conglomerate with operation across Industrial, Technology and Energy sectors. The group has an annual turnover of over US$80 billion with close to 300,000 employees around the globe. Job Description Reporting to the APAC CFO, you will head up the finance and accounting function across the region which includes presence in Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines and India. Managing a sizeable team, you will partner closely with the CFO as well as Country Managers in providing data analysis, reporting, budgeting and forecasting and working capital management. You will also take the lead in establishing and maintaining strong banking relationships, ensuring compliance to statutory reporting, audit as well as tax requirements. As part of the senior leadership team, you will lead discussions with key stakeholders in commercial and operations. You will also actively influence and provide sound financial advice on business strategies as well as potential M&A, business expansion and restructuring projects in the region. The Successful Applicant As the successful candidate, you will have a degree in accountancy with at least 15 years of relevant experience of which at least 8 years in a leadership capacity. Prior experience in Big 4 audit firms is highly preferred. Ability to manage different stakeholders and work well within a multi-cultural environment is key. This person also need to be hands on at the same time have the capability to provide strategic advice to the management. Travel within the region is required.
