Job Description : GROUP TAX MANAGER UK Looking for International candidates You will play a pivotal role in managing various aspects of tax operations. Your responsibilities will include overseeing UK & international corporate income tax filings, managing the Group’s transfer pricing policy, advising on tax implications for overseas expansion, & handling the Group's UK VAT affairs. You will also support the Funds tax team on matters affecting tax structuring & manage the tax integration of newly acquired entities globally. As a Group Tax Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing various aspects of our client's tax operations. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing UK and international corporate income tax filings, managing the Group’s transfer pricing policy, advising on tax implications for overseas expansion, and handling the Group's UK VAT affairs. You will also support the Funds tax team on matters affecting tax structuring and manage the tax integration of newly acquired entities globally. Your role will involve liaising with HMRC & overseas tax authorities regarding Business Risk Reviews and enquiries. Additionally, you will maintain the firm's tax governance and risk frameworks while assisting the group tax team with year-end audit tasks. Oversee UK and international corporate income tax filings and requirements Maintain and manage the Group’s transfer pricing policy Advise on tax implications and required corporate structure for overseas expansion Manage the Group's UK VAT affairs Support the Funds tax team on matters affecting tax structuring Manage tax integration of newly acquired and newly established entities globally Liaise with HMRC & overseas tax authorities regarding Business Risk Reviews and enquiries Maintain the firm's tax governance and risk frameworks Assist the group tax team with year end audit, tax provisioning calculations and responsibilities The ideal candidate for this Group Tax Manager position will bring a wealth of experience in tax management. You should be a qualified CTA or equivalent (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc.) with at least 15 years of post-qualification experience. Your strong tax accounting skills and ability to review new legislation will be crucial in this role. A good working knowledge of OneSource is required, along with the ability to meet deadlines and solve problems with strong analytical skills. You should be comfortable dealing with employees at all levels, including Directors and Heads of Departments. Knowledge of other taxes would be beneficial. We are looking for a proactive and ambitious individual with excellent business partnering skills. Qualified CTA or equivalent (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc.) with relevant experience 15+ years PQE Strong tax accounting skills Ability to review new legislation and ascertain its potential impact on the group Good working knowledge of OneSource Ability to meet deadlines and solve problems with strong analytical skills Comfortable dealing with employees of all levels including Directors and Heads of Departments Knowledge of other taxes is beneficial Proactive, ambitious with excellent business partnering skills
