Finance Head

Job Description : FINANCE HEAD SINGAPORE The successful candidate will be entrusted with consistently assessing and enhancing the efficiency of the finance function, spearheading key transformation projects, and collaborating closely with stakeholders to refine processes and implement solutions. Foster continuous enhancement and transformation within the finance department Collaborate intimately with stakeholders to refine processes and boost efficiencies As the Head of Finance, your role will be crucial in overseeing the daily operations of the finance department. You will be accountable for ensuring efficient processing of payments, maintaining precise financial records, generating reports for government grants, coordinating with various parties including auditors, bankers, agencies, vendors, as well as working together with stakeholders to refine finance processes. Your role will also involve reviewing financial processes and policies for compliance, developing annual budgets and forecasts, creating financial reports for committees and board members. Oversee routine Finance operations to ensure efficient processing and timely disbursements of payments. Guarantee proper record keeping and financial accounting to meet internal and external reporting requirements. Take charge of year-end external audit and month end closing activities. Generate reports for government grant and funding purposes. Coordinate with internal and external auditors, bankers, government agencies and vendors. Work together with stakeholders to refine finance processes and implement solutions. Review and update financial processes and policies to ensure compliance. Develop annual budget and forecast. Create financial reports for Committees and the Board. As our perfect candidate for the Head of Finance position, you bring a wealth of experience in accountancy or finance along with a relevant degree or certification. With at least 8 to 10 years of post-graduation experience under your belt, you are comfortable working on a regional scale. Your leadership skills are top-notch, having successfully led teams in previous roles. You are highly driven, adaptable, possess excellent interpersonal skills, have a strong understanding of financial accounting principles and internal controls. Your analytical mindset coupled with your excellent problem-solving abilities make you an asset to any team. Degree in Accountancy/Finance or Qualified/Certified accounting qualification. Minimum 15 years of post-graduation experience. Experience in leading a team. Highly driven and adaptable team player. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong understanding in financial accounting and internal control. Analytical with excellent problem-solving skills.
