Job Description : OUNTRY HR HEAD PHILIPPINES his role presents an unparalleled opportunity to steer the creation and execution of all-encompassing HR strategies, ensuring the right talent is in place at the right time. The successful candidate will be instrumental in assessing and developing HR services and infrastructure, supervising global delivery of HR systems, and providing expert advice to optimise staffing resources and performance. As the Country Head of Human Resources, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's human resources landscape. Your primary responsibility will be to direct and oversee the development of comprehensive human resource strategies, including workforce planning, job performance improvement, and HR capacity development. You will evaluate and facilitate HR functional capacity for the region, implementing actions to develop HR services and infrastructure. Your expertise will be crucial in overseeing the global delivery of HR systems, ensuring effective adaptation at all levels. Additionally, you will serve as a strategic partner, providing invaluable advice to optimise staffing resources and performance. Act as a strategic advisor to leadership teams, providing insights and counsel on optimizing staffing resources, performance management, and employee engagement strategies. Assess and strengthen HR functional capacity and ensure the effective delivery of HR services in alignment with organizational goals and regional needs. Develop and lead training programs and capacity-building initiatives, ensuring the upskilling of HR teams and staff in the region. Drive the integration and alignment of HR practices with organizational culture, ensuring compliance with regional labor laws and HR best practices. Foster collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to enhance HR service delivery and contribute to organizational growth and success. Lead and oversee the identification and development of annual and multi-year human resource strategies, including workforce planning, job performance improvement, and HR capacity building for the Philippines Region. Manage special projects and handle additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the HR department. Supervise the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of global HR systems, standards, and initiatives across the region to ensure consistency and compliance. The ideal candidate for this Country Head of Human Resources position brings a wealth of experience in human resources management at a regional level. With a minimum of 10-15 years' progressive experience in the field, you have demonstrated success as an HR business partner managing regional stakeholders with broad knowledge in employment law, compensation, organisational planning, development, and employee relations will be key to your success in this role. You are a strong collaborator with effective interpersonal skills, capable of working seamlessly across countries and cultures. Your superb communication skills, both written and verbal, will enable you to manage conflict and conflicting views effectively. Fluency in English is required for this role. At least 10 to 15 years of progressive Human Resources professional experience, with a Master’s degree preferred. Broad knowledge of employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organizational development, employee relations, and training and development. Demonstrated success as an HR as business partner supporting employee groups of 500+ employees across multiple locations within a regional or global environment. Effective collaborator with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working seamlessly across diverse countries, cultures, and organizational units. English fluency required, with the ability to communicate superbly in both written and verbal forms. Experience managing conflict and resolving conflicting views with tact and diplomacy. Minimum of 5 years in a regional manager or director-level role, or equivalent education and experience. Strong knowledge of HRIS systems is preferred, along with the ability to regularly travel to countries within the assigned region.
