Job Description : MD MALAYSIA FOR STEEL Managing Director (Steel) with a focus on the steel industry, who is highly motivated to guide their organisation towards success. As the Managing Director (Steel) in the Industry of Steel, you will be at the helm of our client's business operations. Your role will involve developing and implementing strategic plans in alignment with financial and growth targets. You will provide overall guidance for various operational aspects including employee matters, quality control, manufacturing processes, financial performance, as well as sales & marketing initiatives. A significant part of your role will be interacting with functional managers across different teams such as Quality, Sales, Tech Team, Project Management, CI & HSE team as well as finance, IT and HR teams. You will also be responsible for identifying new business opportunities to expand the company's footprint. Develop and implement the company's strategic plan in partnership with the Board of Directors Provide overall guidance for all aspects of operations including employee matters, quality, manufacturing, financial performance, sales & marketing, and product/services development Interact extensively with functional managers to provide leadership and directions Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements Identify and pursue new business opportunities Manage the company's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting Analyse market trends and competition to recommend strategies As the Managing Director (Steel) in the Industry of Steel you will bring a wealth of experience in managing businesses successfully towards achieving their financial targets. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Management or related field Proven track record of successfully managing a business and achieving financial targets Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Sound knowledge of business strategy, financial management, and operations management Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail Ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders Experience in negotiating and closing deals Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
