Chief Financial Officer

Job Description : CFO ZAMBIA . The CFO will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for overseeing all financial operations, providing strategic financial direction, and ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the organization. This is a critical role that requires an individual with a deep understanding of financial management within large-scale projects, particularly in the real estate and technology sectors. Lead the development and execution of the company’s financial strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and objectives. Oversee financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for all ongoing and future projects. Manage and optimize the company’s investment portfolio, including real estate, technology and private credit. Identify and mitigate financial risks across all projects and investments, ensuring the company’s financial stability and compliance with regulatory requirements. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to the executive team, board of directors, and external stakeholders. Oversee capital structure, fundraising activities, and relationships with financial institutions and investors. Drive financial efficiency across all business operations, optimizing costs and maximizing profitability. Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Skills: Strong financial acumen. Strategic thinking, and leadership skills. Flexibility to manage multiple projects and investments across diverse sectors. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is highly desirable. Minimum of 20 years of industry experience, with at least 5 years in a CFO or equivalent senior financial leadership role. Proven experience in financial management within large-scale real estate, technology, and/or diversified investment portfolios.
