Job Description : CFO MALI The CFO for TCSONS will bring a solid understanding of putting in place the right structure, resources, and set clear financial policies and capital structure. Overall, he/she demonstrates a mind-set that stretches beyond finance management and supports P&L and commercial business management and expansion. He/she brings solid experience that will service the different portfolios brands and knows how to report the results to the group in a structured, pragmatic, and clear manner. This role is reserved for a CFO who has successfully operated in different sectors with a strong knowledge of the Middle East and Africa market, placing him/her as a trusted advisor to the business. Or is willing to spend time in Africa. He/she has managed the full suite of financial management. Planning, developing, organizing, implementing, directing, and evaluating the financial and fiscal function and performance of the group. Evaluating and advising on the impact of long-term planning, introduction of new strategies and regulatory action. Streamlining of the finance operations of TCSONS. Harmonizing the operations of the firm by developing relevant policies and procedures, and related documents pertaining to finance. Building a strong and trusting relationship with the CEO of TCSONS, senior management team, and all other stakeholders. Driving the professionalization of the TCSONS division through establishing the right financial framework, allocation of resources and capital across the various businesses. Supporting maximum returns and future growth strategy with the right finance strategy and capital structure. Advancing the transformation agenda and enhancing the positioning of the TCSONS division through creating synergies. Creating a collaborative and strong work culture where all employees are closely aligned towards the same vision, goals, and purpose. Developing a reporting framework across the TCSONS and managing the financial reporting process, including monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, as well as management reports that provide key financial metrics and insights to support decision-making. Overseeing the financial planning and analysis process, including the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting, ensuring that financial plans are aligned with the company's strategic goals and objectives. Managing the accounting function, ensuring that financial records are accurate and up- to-date, and that appropriate internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets. Overseeing the treasury function, managing the company's cash position and investment strategy to ensure sufficient liquidity and optimize returns. Providing financial guidance to the TCSONS division, supporting decision-making and identifying opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth Building and leading a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Work closely to track and review all business, to ensure profitability. Develop annual business plans and strategies. (MIS, Budgeting, and Planning) Implementation of systems and processes and risk management (Like credit limits vertical wise, have the capacity to engage our internal audit team in a way that does daily forensic auditing, improving internal controls) Candidate Qualifications 10 to 15 years of proven experience in financial management, including at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role. Extensive Experience in finance function, consolidation, accounting, financial forecasting, credit, funding, capital planning, legislative compliance and manages relationships with the companys bankers. Strategic thinker with a track record of driving financial performance and growth. Understanding of VAT, tax regimes and systems in various countries. Has an existing relevant network with the bankers and the ability to maintain excellent relationships with banks and investors on an international scale. Proven ability to lead high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Must be able to operate in an entrepreneurial environment and understand the dynamics of the Middle East, Africa, and India. Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Bachelors or masters degree in finance or accounting or related; Professional Accounting qualifications such as ACA, CIMA, CMA is an added advantage
