Chief Risk Officer

Job Description : Chief Risk Officer Location: Dubai Salary: Circa 50-60K AED One of the leading financial institutions in the UAE is seeking a Chief Risk Officer based in Dubai. Key Responsibilities: ? Manage the Risk and Compliance functions and identify key operational risks and regulatory issues impacting the organization’s operations. ? Provide appropriate analysis, review, and advice on all Risk and Compliance matters to the management. ? Ensure an appropriate Risk Management and compliance culture is in place to minimize risk, maximize returns, and adhere to statutory norms. ? Ensure that the organization operates in accordance with all regulatory and legal requirements and company standards of conduct. Requirements: ? A Bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting and Finance, Banking Studies, Risk Management, Compliance, or any relevant commercial discipline. An MBA would be an advantage. ? A minimum of 15 years of experience in banking or financial institutions, with at least 8 years in a senior Credit/Risk Management or Compliance role. ? At least 3-5 years of experience leading a Risk or Compliance Department. ? Experience working within the UAE regulatory environment. Please note: Candidates must be based in the UAE.
