Job Description : General Manager- Sales & Marketing EAST AFRICA Experience : 15 Years Job / Role Specification : Qualification : Any disciplinary Total Experience : Minimum 15 years experience in beverages/Ice Cream industry High Energetic with Relevant Experiences are highly preferable. Note : Candidate should be from Icecream/Dairy/FMCG Industies. Key Competencies Required : Good Communication skills /Should be highly motivated & Result Oriented/Strong Interpersonal Skills /Creative thinking/Problem solving ability /Decision making /Time management skills Responsibilities : 1. Planning along with other departments on achieving the company goals and strategize the same with marketing department. 2. Reviewing on the progress every month with sales team and guide them on future achievement. 3. Analyzing of sales reports and taking necessary action on the same in discussion with directors. 4. Appointing distributors as per the criteria 5 . Visiting the market and identifying the gaps in the market and taking the necessary actions to full fill the gaps in the market 6. Has to be responsible complete market growth 7. Need to update day to day activitys happening in the market 8. Need to be aware of competitor activitys, and need to submit reports to the directors on competitor activitys and strategies implementing by competitor. 9. Formulate, direct and co-ordinate marketing activities and policies to promote and services, working with advertising and promotion Managers 10. Identify, develop, or evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and Mark-up factors. 11. Evaluate the financial aspects of product development, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, or return-on-investment and profit-loss projections. 12. Develop pricing strategies, balancing firm objectives and customer satisfaction. 13. Compile lists describing products and direct Marketing Staff on target achievement on each product. 14. Initiate market research studies or analyze their findings. 15. Use sales forecasting or strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends. 16. Coordinate or participate in promotional activities or trade shows, working with developers, advertisers, or production managers, to market products or services. 17. Driving business growth through identification & penetration of new market segments for attainment of periodical targets. 18. Devising & implementing pre & post marketing activities for successful launching of new products.
