Maintenance Manager

Job Description : MAINTAINANCE MANAGER GCC a construction company serving the upstream & downstream oil & gas industry, industrial sector, energy, and power sectors as well as providing infrastructural works for both public and private sector projects. They have an opening for a Maintenance Manager for heavy plant equipment/machinery, construction equipment, heavy mobile cranes. Job Description: Managing the company plant department comprising heavy plant equipment/machinery, construction equipment, heavy mobile cranes as well as vehicles. Managing department costs, revenues, employees, and leading operations and maintenance functions. Supervising repairs executed in the central workshop for earthmoving equipment, transport equipment, light vehicles, generators, and various construction plants, diagnosing faults, and helping to instruct on the repairs to be performed and how to perform them, according to manufacturer’s specifications. Follow up on daily basis with different sites to ensure that periodic and preventive maintenance are appropriately scheduled and accomplished, ensuring that the service and inspection intervals are adhered to. Ensure the maintenance records for the fleet are accurate and up-to-date, track fleet usage, and maintain an accurate inventory of the equipment. Following up on the procurement of spare parts, sourcing the parts, and coordinating with the suppliers and the company procurement division. Giving recommendations to the procurement department on the selection of the new equipment to purchase. Desired candidate profile: Candidate must be a mechanical engineer with 8-10 years of experience in managing heavy plant equipment/machinery/ construction equipment. Experience of working in the GCC region is mandatory.
