Job Description : OPERATIONS DIRECTOR MALAYSIA t. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing high-mix/high-volume batch processing, automatic/ manual assembly and packaging lines, while ensuring the highest quality standards are met. This position is pivotal to delivering excellence in operational efficiency, compliance, and ensuring a safe environment to meet the demands for export market. As an Operations Director for our client's medical device manufacturing operations, you will be at the forefront of leading multiple functions such as supply chain management, production oversight, engineering leadership and project management. Your role will involve overseeing daily operations to ensure production targets are met while maintaining the highest quality standards. You will also be responsible for leading new product launches and facility expansions to enhance operational efficiency. Oversee daily operations to ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved. Lead the engineering and maintenance teams in ensuring all machinery and equipment are operating optimally. Oversee new product launches, facility expansions, and process improvement projects. Manage the end-to-end supply chain, including procurement, inventory, logistics, and vendor relationships. Ensure compliance with medical device industry standards and regulatory requirements. Drive operational excellence through Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement initiatives. Manage operational and facility budgets. The ideal candidate for this Operations Director role brings a wealth of experience from medical device with a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Your proven track record in managing operations for a company with significant manpower as well as annual revenues speaks volumes about your capabilities. Your in-depth knowledge of supply chain, engineering, production, and facility management will be key to your success in this role. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing preferred). An MBA is desired. Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in an operations leadership role within a manufacturing environment. Strong experience with production lines involving high mix/ high volume in an automated/manual assembly environment. In-depth knowledge of supply chain, engineering, production, and facility management in a high-volume environment. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in the medical device industry. Demonstrated ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives.
