Job Description : Plant Manager (Plant & Equipment)-PMV We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Manager to oversee workshop operations, with a focus on the maintenance, repair, and servicing of heavy equipment, machinery, and plants used in construction and marine projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving safety, quality, and productivity within the Plant, Equipment & Machinery. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage day-to-day plant operations regarding maintenance activities for a fleet of plant, machinery, and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. -Plan and organize the repair and maintenance activities of machines, plant, equipment and vehicles, Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, workshop manuals, hydraulic and electrical system diagrams etc. Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs/overhaul of heavy cranes, forklifts, trucks, man-lifts, trailers, excavator, Bulldozer, earth moving equipment, rolling machine and other construction equipment, and fully conversant with pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems, overhauling of Auto Electrical components Supervise weekly and monthly inspections of heavy equipment/machinery, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Effectively allocate resources to maximize plant efficiency and output. Enforce the company’s HSE plan, ensuring all safety procedures are adhered to, and maintenance protocols are followed. Oversee logistics and transportation operations, particularly in construction and oil & gas sectors. Manage, develop, and mentor plant staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded. Introduce new technologies and processes to improve plant operations, providing training to technicians as needed. Monitor and control budgets related to the utilization and performance of vehicles/equipment. Qualifications: Minimum 12 years of experience in a similar role within the GCC, preferably in the Plant & Equipment or Automobile industry. Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field Strong knowledge of machinery, equipment maintenance, and logistics operations. Excellent communication and coordination skills, capable of managing both internal teams and external client relationships. Thorough understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements, with experience in ISO compliance.
