Job Description : Mechanical Head for Distillery Plant for Uganda Location Job Location: Uganda Nationality: Indian Qualification: B.E. Mechanical Candidates: Background Must from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Mechanical Head of Distillery to oversee our grain-based production operations. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production processes, uphold quality standards, ensure safety compliance, manage the distillery team, and drive strategic initiatives to enhance productivity and innovation. Key Result Areas (KRAs): 1. Carrying out maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment. 2. Performing periodic inspections on the plant, machinery, and automated systems. 3. Scheduling planned and preventive maintenance work. 4. Ensuring that machinery and equipment are kept in good working order. 5. Ensuring that machinery and equipment meet safety regulations. 6. Intervening immediately in the event of breakdowns, failures, or malfunctions 7. Repairing and/or replacing broken or defective components. 8. Checking repaired components and machinery to ensure normal functionality has been restored. 9. Documenting maintenance activities. Qualifications: 1. B.E Qualified with Mechanical 2. Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in distillery operations or other Industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. 3. knowledge in grain-based operations is preferred 4. Excellent leadership, team management, analytical and problem-solving skills. 5. Good understanding of regulatory requirements and safety standards. 6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
