Job Description : Head - Business Development (Specialty Chemicals & Intermediates) Responsibilities Develop & implement a Comprehensive Business Development Strategy to Achieve the Company's Growth Objectives, focusing on expanding our Market Presence & Identifying New Business Opportunities. Conduct Market Research & Analysis to identify Potential Customers, emerging Trends, & Market Dynamics. Utilize this information to Capitalize on New Business Opportunities & Stay Ahead of Competitors. Build & Maintain Strong Relationships with Key Clients, Understanding their Needs & Aligning our Products & Services to Meet their Requirements. Identify, Evaluate, & Pursue New Business Opportunities, including Partnerships, Collaborations, & Acquisitions. Lead Negotiations & finalize Agreements to ensure Successful Deal Closures. Collaborate Closely with internal Teams, including R&D, Production, Marketing, & Regulatory Affairs, to ensure Seamless Execution of Business Development Initiatives & Successful Product Commercialization. Skills & Expertise Strong Technical Knowledge & Understanding of Specialty Chemicals & Intermediates. Ability to effectively Communicate Complex Technical Concepts to Clients & Internal Stakeholders. Demonstrated Experience in Developing & Executing Successful Business Strategies. Proven Ability to Identify & Capitalize on Market Opportunities, Drive Revenue Growth, & Achieve Financial Targets. Strong leadership & Team Management Abilities, with the Capability to inspire & Motivate Cross-functional Teams to Achieve Common Goals. Market Research and Analysis: Conducting thorough Market Research & Analysis will be a Key Responsibility in this Role. Ability to Analyze Data & Make informed Decisions to Develop Effective Sales Strategies. Understanding Financial Metrics & being Able to Analyze Business Cases is important in this Role. Evaluating the Financial Viability of New Opportunities, Making informed investment Decisions, & Maximizing Revenue Generation. Responsible for Developing & implementing Sales Strategies that Align with the Company's Overall Goals & Objectives. Pivotal Role in Negotiating Contracts with Clients & Other Stakeholders. Strong Negotiation Skills, Coupled with Understanding of legal & Contractual Terms Collaboration Across Departments is Crucial for Successful Business Development. Work Closely with Various Teams, Such as Marketing, Operations, & Finance, to ensure a Seamless & Cohesive Approach to Business Growth. Regularly Monitoring & Reporting on Key Performance indicators (KPIs) Analyze Sales Data, Evaluate the Success of Business Development Activities, & Present Comprehensive Reports to Senior Management Qualification & Exp. A Chemical Engg. with PGDM/MBA from a with About 15-20 Years of Exp. in Business Development, Sales/Marketing, Preferably in the Specialty Chemicals or Intermediates Industry.
