Job Description : AUTO SPARE PARTS HEAD WEST AFRICA 18+ years experience Organization is a major player into Sales & Marketing of 2 wheeler & 3 Wheeler of a prominent Indian brand in African Countries. Looking for Spare Parts Head - for its Operations in one of the West African Country . Preferred candidate should have essentially worked in the retail / Channel sales function for spare parts manufacturing auto ancillary. - Role holder shall be responsible for managing Spare Parts sales function for the Country. - Responsible for establishing and management of dealer/ retailer network for spare parts sales. - One has to design spares sales strategy and effectively execute through team. - Responsible for achieving revenue targets through sale of spare parts. - Identify Spares Potential in the geography - Network Expansion & Engagement Stockiest & Retailer - Should have good understanding of ABC inventory management system, FMS, Dealer Management System. - Analyze, Plan, Guide RSMs, ASMs & Monitor Activities covering all Key Business Influencers / Stake holders ( Stockiest, Retailers, Fleet Owners, Mechanics& Riders ) - Study & Devise Stockiest & retailer scheme for business growth - Strategise and initiate demand generation activities - Implement & Ensure Adherence of SOPs - Standard Operating Procedures - Sales Process implementation - Stock Audit & Claims - Order Preparation - Maintain Healthy Inventory to reduce Sales Loss - Team Competency Building : Train his team members ( RSMs & ASMs ) to improve their Selling Skills & Approach - Ensure all the team members are achieving KPIs - Development of team through Case Studies : to Evaluate competition & generate Sales Pitch to promote parts - Build good relations with Fleet Owners & Associations ( Rider & Mechanic Associations ) - Accomplish Organizational goals & Initiatives within timelines with Accuracy - Managing complete Management Information System for board reporting, analysis of data, for identify & Initiating corrective actions swiftly to meet Organizational Goals - Focused Approach on Customer Satisfaction& improve lead time - Team engagement & retention, ensure Harmonious & Productive work environment - Ensure availability of spare parts across region - Spares inventory management, pricing rationalization, spare parts ordering, billing, etc. - Responsible to effectively manage warehouse and logistics for availability of spares at retail channel. - Ensure spare parts availability in the geography through effective retail network spread Required Candidate profile Candidate should be Mechanical or Automobile Engineer. Management qualification shall be an added advantage (MBA) with good experience of Planning & Execution of business strategies. - Post qualification sales experience of 18-22 years, preferably with manufacturer of auto spare parts of 2/3 wheeler. - People with Africa experience will be preferred. - Ability to manage full spares sales operations - Strong experience and understanding of channel management - Leadership quality to effectively drive team towards organisational objectives. - Good technical understanding automobile spare parts and products. - Proficiency in English ( Written & Verbal ) - Proficiency in MS Office ( Excel, Power point & able to use Functions to Analyze large data sheets like V Lookup, Pivot tables, using logical formulas etc ) - Shall have Hands on Experience to train & Solve dealer discrepancies - Must have handled Large Teams & Territory ( Like Zonal Manager for 4 states ) - Must have exposure & hands on experience on Demand generation activities - Must have ability to work on ground to do On Job Training to team & convince dealers for sales - Handled Volumes of $ 500,000 to 1 Mn per month - Should have good technical knowledge, Sales & Marketing skills - Shall be soft spoken & should follow Communication etiquette with verbal & written with all stake holders, inter department & customers - Good health condition & Fit to travel - Go-getter, ability to think out of box and drive culture of innovation in the team
