Global Resources Head

Job Description : Head of Global Business. Location : Dhaka Reports To: Managing Director. Key Responsibilities: 1. Global Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive global business strategy, focusing on expanding international markets, ensuring alignment with company goals in electronics and electrical products. 2. Market Expansion: Identify, evaluate, and penetrate new international markets while optimizing presence in existing regions. Create tailored market entry strategies based on regulatory landscapes and customer needs. 3. Revenue Growth & Profitability: Lead initiatives to drive global sales and increase profitability across global markets, ensuring sustainable growth. Monitor global trends and identify new revenue streams to maintain competitive advantage. 4. Business Development & Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with international distributors, retailers, and partners. Negotiate and finalize strategic partnerships that align with long-term growth objectives. 5. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure global operations comply with local regulations, mitigating risks related to political, economic, and legal factors. Oversee legal due diligence for all international ventures. 6. Financial Management: Oversee the global business budget, including sales forecasts, P&L analysis, tracking financial performance and ROI of international projects. Implement pricing strategies that balance competitiveness and profitability. 7. Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and develop a high-performing global business team. Foster collaboration with internal departments, including marketing, R&D, and production, to ensure global initiatives align with corporate objectives. Educational Background: • A Bachelor degree in Business Administration, International Business, or a related field from a recognized university (MBA is preferred) Experience: • A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in global business operations. • Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams across multiple regions and managing large-scale global operations. • Prior experience in the electronics and electrical industry is highly preferred, with an understanding of global market dynamics in these sectors. Skills & Competencies: • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English. Proficiency in additional languages will be an advantage. • In-depth knowledge of international trade laws, market regulations, and global supply chain management. • Financial literacy with experience in managing large budgets and P&L responsibilities. Interpersonal Skills: • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment. • Highly adaptable and culturally sensitive with a global perspective. • Willingness to travel extensively across international markets and manage multi-region operations.
