They have been a catalyst for the growth and development of the oil and fats industry in India, specializing in manufacturing and supplying innovative, energy-efficient, and customized turnkey projects. Their portfolio includes oil extraction, refining, specialty products, oleochemicals, biodiesel, and more. Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Director of Marketing to drive strategic growth and enhance our market presence. This role is pivotal in shaping our long-term vision and ensuring the success of our marketing initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Growth: Identify and analyze opportunities for business expansion, building compelling business cases to support our long-term vision. Market Analysis: Monitor the health and growth potential of assigned markets, evaluating entry and exit strategies. Risk Management: Identify business risks and develop effective mitigation strategies. Operational Oversight: Collaborate with operations, sales, and market development teams to implement business strategies and achieve annual operating plans (AOP). Strategic Alliances: Identify acquisition and market opportunities, working with the Strategic Alliance Manager to align with long-term growth strategies. Sales Efficiency: Oversee company operations to ensure sales efficiency, quality, and cost-effective resource management. Annual Planning: Develop and review the annual sales strategy, operating plans, and policies. Market Expansion: Plan for the expansion of new sales territories and methods, aiming for deeper market penetration. Competitive Benchmarking: Assess competitors to identify key issues and competitive advantages, monitoring their tactical moves. Performance Assessment: Conduct annual assessments of the sales and marketing strategy against established objectives. Market Strategy Development: Continuously refine the market strategy to align customer service with business goals. Marketing Materials: Identify requirements for promotional materials and manage their development. Event Management: Plan and manage events, conferences, and trade shows for domestic and international market promotions. Industry Engagement: Maintain strong industry contacts to enhance visibility and acceptance in the market. Qualifications: Proven experience in a senior marketing role, preferably in the oil and fats, ethanol or related industries. Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills. Excellent leadership and team collaboration abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
