Project Director

Job Description : Director – Projects KENYA Reporting to: Country Manager General Job Description · To be overall responsible for Regional P&L for projects Business. · Develop Local business and Sales for Project Logistics opportunities · To Implement project Strategies across India for Improved Operational Excellence, Network and Business Growth · To Support all regional functions / internal stakeholders and customers with a competitive & effective solution. Specific Accountabilities · Map all the identified Key Accounts for the vertical / region. · Develop robust pipeline for Projects business. Identify business opportunities and device strategy to win them with strong sales relationships. · Create a detailed customer plan for each customer in the portfolio. · Develop & maintain all commercials & SOPs for each customer in the portfolio. · Grow Business based on the target set for each of the customer · Ensure smooth operations as per compliance process, adherence to safe practice · Ensure that the enquiries/RFQs are submitted to customers as per deadline/ department KPI · Monitoring business performance against budget to meet / exceed budget. · Ability to understand the customer requirement & propose tailor made solutions to win business/maximize GP. · Expertise on sea & air chartering INCO terms, chartering terms etc along with relationship with vessel owners, network agents · Techno commercial negotiation Preferred candidate profile · Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities · Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills · Strong Sales relationship to convert business opportunities & presentation skills. · Minimum 20 years industry experience with at least 5 years as P&L head position in the projects vertical · Exposure to operations in project and sound knowledge to explain strategies / solutions for project cargo · Graduate / Postgraduate from reputed university. · PGDM / MBA in Sales / Marketing will be an added advantage.
