Job Description : FMCG PLANT DIRECTOR ITALY Open to bilingual candidates worldwide Guide, manage, develop, and control the operations of the Novara plant to achieve the medium and long-term production goals established by the annual general/company plan. Guide activities, minimize risks, manage costs, and monitor the finances of the Novara plant, being responsible for tactical direction and planning. Negotiate with external parties with conflicting interests; modify and improve production operations, processes, systems, and skills at the plant level. Main Accountabilities: Guides, manages, evaluates, and develops a team of functional and operational managers or other professionals to ensure the site meets established goals and standards. Responsible for defining operational budgets within specific levels, monitors costs and the effectiveness of site-related activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and achieve safety, quality, and production standards. Sets and monitors site performance against standards and objectives in areas such as production efficiency, production cost control, maintenance, supply chain reliability and availability, legal compliance, capital investment proposals, HSEQ, and human resources management. Develops and implements a variety of operational policies and procedures (together with corporate subject matter experts) to ensure the plant meets current and future production goals. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders (eg, authorities, union representatives, media, NGOs) to develop and improve business relationships. Evaluates capital investment needs related to plant safety, line performance, equipment aging, and environmental requirements to optimize and maintain safety, quality, and efficiency to the highest industry standards. Recognizes, promotes, and adheres to all safety, quality, energy, and environmental practices, corporate organizational policies, and procedures in the performance of their duties. Requirements: Preferable degree in Engineering or similar fields At least 25 years of experience in similar roles Good knowledge of the English language Familiarity with the Office package and SAP Preferable background in continuous production sectors Knowledge of the textile/paper sector, or FMCG Problem-solving skills and excellent conflict management abilities High organizational capacity and activity prioritization skills Excellent relational and listening abilities
