Job Description : Senior Electrical Engineer/Manager (20-25 Years Experience) Location: Guinea Industry: Manufacturing + Project + Design Experience Required: 20-25 Years · We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with a deep understanding of high-voltage systems (up to 225kV), as well as low-voltage systems (0.4kV). This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with 20-25 years of experience in electrical engineering, focusing on design, specification, maintenance, and project management in a factory or industrial environment. The candidate should have a proven track record of managing complex electrical systems, leading projects, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Key Responsibilities: System Management: · Oversee the operation, maintenance, and reliability of the factorys electrical systems, including 20kV, 0.4kV, and high-voltage systems up to 225kV. · Oversee the operation and maintenance of the factorys 15MVA ,0.4kV UPS electrical systems. · Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics on electrical systems to prevent and resolve issues efficiently. · Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs to ensure continuous and reliable power supply. · Lead the design, development, and specification of electrical systems, including high-voltage systems (up to 225kV), for new installations and upgrades. · Create detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications using CAD and other engineering software. · Evaluate and select electrical components and equipment, ensuring they meet technical, cost, and safety criteria. Project Management: · Manage large-scale electrical engineering projects from inception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, civil, etc.) and oversee the integration of electrical systems into the overall factory infrastructure. • Supervise contractors, vendors, and external partners to ensure projects meet design specifications, timelines, and quality standards. • Safety & Compliance: • Ensure all electrical systems and installations comply with local, national, and international safety regulations, including IEC, NEC, and OSHA standards. • Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and implement corrective actions to minimize electrical hazards. • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all electrical systems, ensuring they are up to date with regulatory and company standards. • Continuous Improvement: • Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve energy efficiency, system reliability, and operational performance. • Stay current with advancements in electrical engineering technologies and best practices, and apply them to the factorys operations. • Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior engineers and maintenance staff. Qualifications & Skills: · Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Masters degree or higher is preferred. · Experience: 20-25 years of experience in electrical engineering, with extensive experience in factory or industrial environments. Technical Skills: • In-depth knowledge of high-voltage systems (up to 225kV) and low-voltage systems (0.4kV). • Extensive experience in electrical design, specification, and project management. • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP) and power system analysis tools. • Strong understanding of electrical standards and codes (e.g., IEC, NEC). • Experience with power distribution, transformers, switchgear, and motor control centers. • Project Management Skills: • Proven experience in managing large-scale engineering projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams. • Soft Skills: • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
