Job Description : GM PRODUCTION AND ENGINEERING BENIN FOR RICE Role & responsibilities A. Management & Administration of Rice Production & other Engineering Operations. B. Includes Planning & drafting of production plan, packaging plan and AMC & Maintenance scheduling. C. Manage & Supervise team to operationalize floor processes, capacity & spreading of each process, establish output norms to delivery finished good at efficient recovery basis. D. Efficient for Engineering related Overall supervision and management of progress on daily basis E. Cost management and efficiency building with vendors by negotiating well & reducing cost F. Leadership ability to lead the entire project team and administration of daily project activities in close association with country project team G. Must be proficient computer literacy with on hand skill of CAD and Microsoft Office. H. Management of spares and stores with calculation of MIL and MOQ of spares with advance and near accurate planning. I. Management and administration of site safety and environmental policies adherence J. Management, Monitoring & Execution of all scheduled production and packaging timeline & operations Electrical, Electronic and Mechanical. K. Establish AMCs and schedule Preventive Maintenance Plan and record down time hours for each operations engineering to reduce the down time hours. L. Implement Zero Safety Index within various engineering sectios. M. Scheduled and periodic reporting to CIO & Business Head on general affairs, routine and critical updates on performance measure and observation of the ongoing projects N. Scheduling of KPIs for critical positions and second level of commands and its scheduled monitoring and evaluation. O. Leadership & Managerial Skill to manage the project team and skill and exposure to take production responsibility at the initiation of commercial production. P. Coordination and scheduled interactions with peers from Sales to understand the production needs and accordingly interact with Agric Procurement team for raw material availability. Q. Establish KPI for all engineering related functions including functional head and their immediate reportees. Role & Reporting - Reporting to Business Head/ Country Head Rice & Grains Preferred candidate profile Education B Tech/ M Tech in Mechanical Engineering or in M Tech Food Technology Minimum 20 Years of Experience in relevant Project engineering field with minimum 15 Years in Rice/ Food Engineering & Operations. Fluent in English writing and Speaking. French basic understanding is preferred. Relevant certificate courses and training would be an added advantage. Advance educational skills on CAD/ Project Engineering
