Regional Sales Manager

Job Description : RSM DRC We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Regional Manager to oversee our agro division & Agro Machinery / automotive division across. The Regional Manager will play a pivotal role in driving sales, building strong customer relationships, and implementing strategic initiatives to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the agricultural & agro Machinery / automotive sector, coupled with exceptional leadership skills and a passion for driving growth and innovation. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth in the agrochemicals, tractors, and agricultural machinery segments. Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to drive performance and exceed sales targets. Establish sales processes, metrics, and KPIs to monitor performance and ensure continuous improvement. Identify market opportunities and potential areas for expansion within the assigned region(s). Formulate market penetration strategies and drive initiatives to increase brand visibility and market presence. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including farmers, distributors, dealers, and industry associations. Collaborate with the product management team to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Provide feedback on product development initiatives and contribute to the launch of new products and solutions. Ensure effective inventory management and distribution of products to meet customer demand and optimize sales performance. Cultivate strong relationships with key customers and channel partners, understanding their needs and providing solutions to enhance their business outcomes. Conduct regular customer visits, presentations, and training sessions to promote products and services and gather feedback. Address customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a timely and satisfactory manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Recruit, onboard, and train sales team members, providing guidance, coaching, and support to enable their success. Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, and accountability within the regional team. Conduct performance evaluations, set clear goals and objectives, and provide regular feedback and recognition to drive employee engagement and development. Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred. 15-20 years of Experience & Knowledge of Agro Machinery / Automotive project. Proven track record of successful sales leadership in the agricultural industry, with at least 15 years of experience in a similar role. In-depth knowledge of agrochemicals, agricultural machinery, and tractor markets, including products, competitors, and distribution channels. Strong business acumen with the ability to analyse market trends, identify opportunities, and develop strategic plans. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region(s) and occasionally nationally or internationally. Leadership qualities including adaptability, resilience, and the ability to inspire and motivate others.
