Job Description : COMMERCIAL AND SOURCING HEAD INDIA Global Commodity - Pricing & Trading Material sourcing Vendor development and management Cost management Market Intelligence Procurement process optimisation Procurement systems (SAP,JD Edwards, Oracle) Logistics scheduling & Distribution process optimisation Identification and valuation of real estate/ retail options Contractual terms and negotiation for asset acquisition Post Qualification experience of 23+ years of leading Corporate Commercial and Logistics function. Has experience in centralizing procurement across business units globally and building a procurement blueprint/strategy; make/buy model, bench-marking & executing greenfield & brownfield facility. Has managed domestic and global purchasing/coomodity functions to source products / services. Proven ability in implementing best global procurement practices, vendor analysis (strengths, risks, capability), vendor consolidation, vendor capability building, etc. Has experience in implementing a structured way of managing opportunities involving client meeting / solution pitch / Request For Proposal (RFP) response / Request For Information (RFI) response / presentation Proven skills in handling vendor negotiations, contracts management, vendor development, etc Has experience in Automation of processes for Vendor Management and Warehouse Management. Proven skills in contract negotiation, drafting contracts, drafting Service Level Agreements to enable cost savings and ensure premium quality products and services. Has experience in building and leveraging relationships (vendors & suppliers). Has knowledge of best practices, Lean Procurement (to reduce inventory),Global Agile Supply Chain, etc. Managed crisis in a calm and rational manner Engineering & MBA (preferably from Finance background)
