Job Description : SCM NIGERIA Supply Chain Manager (EXPAT POSITION) Location – Lagos, Nigeria Compensation: Pay ranges BTW $2500 - $3500 monthly + Full Expat benefits Our client is a leading high tech ELV and Security solution company that offers services in the construction, industrial, governmental sectors etc. in Nigeria. The company is seeking to hire a Supply Chain Manager who will be responsible for running the procurement logistics, warehouse and store units of the company in order to enhance productivity and efficiency of operations while keeping cost as low as possible without compromising on the company’s standards of quality. Key Responsibilities: Update and manage the procurement, logistics and inventory processes for optimum performance and reduced costs. Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the procurement, logistics and inventory condition of the company. Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors. Read and comprehend legal documents, such as contracts or import/export agreements. Understanding of principles of accounting and finance. Collaborate with others from diverse backgrounds in order to identify problems and find solutions. Ensure all store inventories company-wide matches with ERP data value Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time. OHS Responsibilities: Drive compliance with safety rules within your teams Follow health and safety procedures, including wearing of personal protective equipment, obeying safety using work tools and so forth. Report any identified defects and potential hazards in the workplace Inform your Supervisor/HSE Representatives/HSE Officer or QHSE Manager of any observed workplace injury, illness, incidents and so forth (near misses and accidents) Be familiar with the company’s emergency and evacuation procedures and the location of emergency equipment (fire extinguishers, first aid kit, etc.) in order to be able to take appropriate action in the event of an emergency Participate in incident investigation (if required) Promote the organization positive health and safety culture. Key Requirements: First degree in relevant field. M.Sc., MBA or membership of a Professional Body is an added advantage. Minimum of 15 years of working experience as a Supply Chain Manager, Procurement or Logistics Manager or other relevant field. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ERP procurement software solutions. Understanding of accounting or finance Working knowledge of import procedures & documentation. Must be able to comprehend legal documents Excellent knowledge of supply chain management Excellent communication skills for interfacing with internal and external contacts. Excellent problem-solving skills.
