Job Description : Senior Estimation Engineer (Roads and Infrastructure Projects) Location: Doha, Qatar Job Type: Full-time Industry: Roads and Infrastructure Projects Experience Required: 10+ years Education: BE in Civil Engineering We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimation Engineer to join our team in Doha. Job Responsibilities: - Lead the estimation process for roads and infrastructure projects, including cost evaluation, materials, and labor. - Prepare detailed project cost estimates and tender documentation. - Analyze project specifications, drawings, and blueprints to determine the scope and materials needed. - Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to obtain accurate project costs. - Evaluate supplier bids and quotations, ensuring alignment with project budget and timelines. - Review and validate subcontractor proposals to ensure they meet project requirements. - Prepare regular reports on project costs, updates, and forecasts for senior management. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. - Minimum of 10 years of experience in cost estimation for roads and infrastructure projects. - Strong knowledge of construction materials, labor costs, and market prices in Qatar. - Proficient in estimation software (e.g., Candy, Primavera, etc.) - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. - Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
