Production Head

Job Description : PRODUCTION HEAD UAE AND OMAN The Head of production will be responsible for extrusion and injection molding operations covering three sites; Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Oman. This is a high-profile leadership role with 7 direct reports and a large team of over 100. Providing leadership and technical expertise this person will be responsible for day-to-day operations and continuous improvement Demonstrates exemplary leadership by guiding and motivating the manufacturing team to achieve operational excellence. Ensures team members are well-trained, engaged, and aligned with the company’s goals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment Implements strategic plans and processes to optimize performance, resolve challenges, and drive continuous improvement, ultimately enhancing the efficiency and quality of manufacturing operations Ensures exceptional customer service by meticulously adhering to the production plan, which guarantees that products are manufactured and delivered according to the established schedules and specifications Enhances productivity in operations by focusing on improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and labor efficiency Implements data-driven strategies to analyze and optimize equipment performance, reduce downtime, and ensure that machinery operates at peak capacity. Streamlines workflows and processes to boost labor efficiency, fostering a work environment where team members are better trained, motivated, and effectively utilized Systematically measure and report on project performance and efficiency levels by implementing robust tracking and reporting systems. This includes defining key performance indicators (KPIs), regularly collecting, and analyzing data to assess progress, and identifying areas for improvement A graduate engineer with 20+ years of work experience, preferably in a large manufacturing company with a developed continuous improvement process. Lean and or Six Sigma qualifications (minimum green belt) Confident and robust, not easily deterred from achieving targets Knowledge of ERP and MIS system
