Job Description : Plant Manager required for Qatar PLANNING & REPORTING: Prepare Planned Maintenance Service schedules for all fleet equipment. Update the completed tasks on the plan weekly. Schedule and assign daily maintenance tasks to the team. Share Daily Progress Reports on achieved targets. Develop a quarterly plan for spare parts and lubricants usage. Maintain consumables and update inventory on a weekly basis to track requested, pending, and consumed items. Plan and schedule necessary inspections on a monthly basis. This includes Equipment Registrations, TPC Inspections, and comprehensive Equipment Condition Surveys with photographic evidence. Inspections should cover critical components such as tires, wire ropes, hook blocks, fork attachments, batteries, hydraulics, electrical systems, electronics, control panels, engines, transmissions, etc... Prepare a plan for rectifications with target deadlines. Conduct weekly/monthly meetings with the project team to identify and address concerns from various departments, aiming to maximize productivity with available resources. INSPECTIONS: Follow manufacturer-recommended procedures for all equipment inspections. Create a checklist for each item and schedule inspections. All findings must be documented in an action plan register with target closure dates. After any job is completed, perform an overall inspection to ensure satisfactory standards of repairs. Submit a job close-out report and update the action close-out register. Update inspection records for each equipment/vehicles after every inspection to maintain accurate service history. Inspect all workshop jobs and procured spares/materials prior to installation, and update consumables records accordingly. Conduct monthly inspections of workshops, and yards. Submit reports with photographic evidence of inspections. EQUIPMENT HANDOVER & OPERATORS COMPETENCY: After thorough inspection, equipment must be handed over to operators with formal acknowledgment of their responsibility. Conduct monthly inspections and revise handover forms as necessary. Any damages must be investigated, and a report should be submitted to management for further action. Additional Suggestions:. Include responsibility for monitoring the budget for maintenance activities and ensuring cost-effective procurement of parts and services. Qualifications: Minimum 12 years of experience in a similar role preferably in the Plant & Equipment or Automobile industry and within the GCC Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
