Job Description : REGIONAL WORKSHOP MANAGER MOMBASSA KENYA 15+ years experience The Regional Workshop Manager will be responsible for managing workshop operations in Coast region, overseeing the maintenance and repair of a mixed fleet of vehicles, including heavy trucks and smaller support vehicles. This role ensures that all vehicles are maintained to high standards, supporting smooth regional operations. Workshop Operations: Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring that all vehicles are serviced and repaired as needed to maintain fleet availability. Maintenance Scheduling: Implement preventive maintenance schedules and oversee unplanned repairs, minimizing vehicle downtime. Team Supervision: Lead a team of technicians, providing training, support, and performance feedback to maintain a high level of technical expertise. Inventory Management: Oversee spare parts stock for essential repairs, coordinating with the central team to ensure timely supply. Safety Compliance: Ensure all workshop activities follow health, safety, and environmental regulations. Fleet Monitoring: Track vehicle performance within the region, report on key metrics, and recommend improvements. Qualifications: Education: Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or equivalent. Experience: 5+ years in vehicle maintenance, with experience handling both heavy and light vehicles. Skills: Strong technical knowledge of vehicle repair, team leadership, and organizational skills. Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with regional safety and compliance standards.
