Job Description : Senior Manager- Bottling Head Industry : Alco- bev ADDIS ABABA ETHIOPIA Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for prepare the business plan of winery and schedule accordingly 2. Production target & Accuracy- o Production Planning o Production Target in Cases with accuracy o Timely execution of all dispatches - No Internal Transfers, No sale loss due to Pvt Brand Inventory o Production accuracy % 3. Oversees the Line efficiency- Optimum Throughput of lines and effective use of manpower. 4. Changeover Efficiency (in SS line with labelling )- Improve changeover efficiency by reducing the time taken for switching between different types of wines or bottle sizes by 20% 5. Downtime Reduction ion in all machines i) SS ii) GAI iii)CAN iv) PET 6. Oversee the reduction of machine downtime with proper PM calender & timely maintenance by keeping all criticle parts available, timely action planning & Execution etc 7. Bottle filling Accuracy Gai & SS ( wine Issue Vs Packed )- Maintain 99% accuracy rate in filling bottles to the correct volume 8. Waste Reduction- Reduce waste (including product spillage,breakage and packaging materials) Liquidate all labelled and unlablled stock Quality Control (Internal quality grievances) Need to reduce problems in bottling like low volume, Glass Particals, sealing, others 9. Inventory Reconcillation, Clearance of Aging stock- Stock taking to be done on monthly / quarterly basis. Ensure Zero variance, Can aging more than 180 days need to be deplete fast as well as Finished Goods stock FIFO need to be maintained -stock having high aging need to dispatched 10. Opex Cost Management- Winery Opex Budget-R&M and E&E -Reduction 11. Capex Cost Management- All new capex projects 12. Responsible for smooth operations of labelling department 13. Special Project- Energy audit : Sudden spurt in electricity consumption has to be assessed and curtailed to become energy efficient. Action points with payback / suggestions made in the energy report to be implemeneted to curtail expenses on electricity 14. Self and Team Development- i) Self Development in the areas of Leadership / team handling skills / collaborative working ii) Development of team through upskilling.
