Job Description : EDIBLLE OIL MAINTENANCE MANAGER SELANGOR, MALAYSIA This role is open to expatriate candidates Lead the maintenance and repair of all equipment, including pumps, valves, pipelines, boilers, turbines and ensuring optimal functionality and minimal downtime. Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and reliably. Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of pumps, valves, and pipeline systems to ensure the smooth transport and processing of materials within the palm mill. Identify potential issues with valves and pipelines, performing inspections and repairs to prevent breakdowns and leaks. Collaborate with teams to ensure maintenance activities align with operational needs and schedules, minimizing disruption. Implement best practices to enhance equipment efficiency, reduce operational costs, and ensure long-term reliability of the palm mill’s systems. Manage a team of skilled technicians and engineers, and technical support. Assign tasks, oversee daily maintenance activities, and ensure that safety and quality standards are adhered to across the team. Ensure all maintenance procedures are carried out in compliance with industry safety standards, especially in high-risk areas such as pumps, pipelines, and high-pressure systems. Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, fostering a safe working environment for all personnel. Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting equipment performance, breakdown analysis, and any recommendations for improvements or upgrades. Job Requirements: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field. Minimum 15 years of experience in maintenance management, particularly in the palm oil or similar industries. Technical knowledge of pumps, valves, pipelines, and other key industrial machinery.
