Supply Chain Head

Job Description : Supply Chain Head Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh Salary: ?80 LPA Industry: Retail / Manufacturing / FMCG Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the entire supply chain function, including procurement, logistics, distribution, inventory management, and demand planning. Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy that supports business growth, cost optimization, and customer satisfaction. Oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, production, and finance) to forecast demand and align supply chain activities with business objectives. Build and manage relationships with key suppliers, logistics providers, and third-party partners to ensure smooth operations. Drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives across the supply chain, implementing best practices and technological innovations. Monitor supply chain performance using KPIs, making data-driven decisions to improve operational outcomes. Manage and lead the supply chain team, fostering a culture of collaboration, high performance, and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including customs, import/export, and safety standards. Key Requirements: 10-15 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Proven track record of success in managing large-scale supply chain operations, preferably in retail, manufacturing, or FMCG sectors. Strong understanding of supply chain management principles, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and demand planning. Experience in managing and optimizing international supply chains. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Experience with supply chain software and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.). Strong analytical and process improvement capabilities.
